inspiring dance workshops – atyp
In October, Kristina Chan and Craig Bary conducted a series of workshops for the ensemble groups at the Australian Theatre for Young People in Sydney. Working with concepts and ideas that were the starting points for Tanja Liedtke’s work construct, the young performers built their own interpretations and creative extensions to these ideas. While these students are more familiar with theatre craft and text based work, they approached this physical expression with enthusiasm and a remarkable level of invention.

We would like to congratulate Joseph Simons in bringing his work FIRST THINGS FIRST, developed during his Fellowship in 2013, to full production for a touring season in Australia. We wish him much success for the tour and into the future.
Best wishes for the Christmas season to all our supporters.
